Where does it come from?
Diatomaceous Earth (DE) are fossilised remains of tiny, aquatic organisms called diatoms. After a long time, the diatoms accumulated, in oceans and other aqua sites. The bodies of the diatoms are made from a material called silica.

Silica is used by plants to strengthen cell walls and membranes. Research has shown that silicon can stimulate the development of plant growth.
